this homeowner wants an addition on his new garage converted into an office. it's got insulted space upstairs so he's gonna put his desks and whatever else goes in an office, up there. he wanted some shelving put in somewhere and originally wanted the shelve built on the wall. so then i was like 'dude, that would eliminate some of your space, right? what if i built them in the wall?' and then he was like 'what do you mean?' and i was like 'i could totally cut a portion of the wall out and then build some shelves in the hole.' so he says 'okay... let's go with that idea. i trust your judgment, so do whatever you think will work. tell me what you need.' so i took some measurements, gave him a list, and sent him to the home depot.
no plans, blueprints, not even a general idea from this guy. he just told me to do whatever i wanted.
https://sendvid.com/ckz79c7hnow imagine what standing shelves woulda looked like against that pitched ceiling. they'da been ugly and would take up too much space.
