Love Ontology

My groundbreaking ontological insight merging Nietzsche and Christ, and Spinoza.
Synthesis of Will to Power, Immanence and the Old and New Testament.
I created it in a remote hut, wearing a burka, in the middle of an Asian steppe, during the winter of 2000, and people have been plagiarizing me ever since.

well i dunno about that, but i once worked on a charter boat when i was in my twenties. i was staying by the beach doing some carpentry, and between jobs i picked up a gig going out on these fishing boats that people would rent. like twenty people at a time, and they would all rent fishing poles. most of em were from the city and didn't know anything about fishing. you know, they just wanted the experience... probably saw a brochure somewhere and wanted to try it. anyway, so my job was to carry around the bait bucket and help these folks set up. i'd rig up the poles... weights, hooks and bait. believe it or not, this is some tedious work, man. doesn't seem like it, but it is. i started out as a helper... but within a few days, i was a masterbaiter. i could rig twenty lines in less than ten minutes. true story.

he's defining 'love' as an illuminating feature of human nature... something that shows us directly and clearly a passionate aspect of our natures. but he's implying that we can't find consolation in that, because the fact that we 'love' neither exalts the thing loved or the lover.

For the rest, the upper 1%...lust and love have similar grounding...and both evolved to facilitate particular reproductive and survival strategies...nothing magical or mystical required.

As does the word human.
