The ineffectiveness of language is the result of a triad, tending towards a fourth, relates to a multi-dimensional existence that is fragmenting continuously.
The lag is increasing producing more alienation.
Man invents technologies to speed up his cognitive ascent.

From interaction between patterns, and random energies emerge dualistic life forms who have memory, in the form of DNA, and presence - base.
Evolution adds projected future to produce triadastic organic life - superior.
This is the advancement from simple to complex life forms, with the evolution of the nervous system.
Language emerges from this triangulaiton of body/mind via the nervous system, or past (precedent - memory)/present (appearance - presence) via a projected future (probability - idealism)


Judgment is triangulation, and juxtaposition/comparison, revealing divergence.
Judge/Observer...juxtaposing objective/ideal, with world/presence/appearance = consciousness.
Observing/Mind....juxtaposing past/body with other/physical presence (world), or with other/objective/future = self-consciousness.

Subjectivity uses self, as the evaluating standard - measuring, judging = self-referential.
It holds the world accountable to its ideals, based on need/suffering and its coping/compensating methods.

Objectivity places the measuring standard outside self, in world, or in other (icon/idol). The objective mind holds itself and others accountable to a common external to all, and indifferent measuring standard.

We can now appreciate the perception of divergence as an essential component of what we call consciousness and judgment.
Juxtaposing observer, observed and standard, the mind perceives change (movement) and difference (identity). This data is then triangulated in mind to produce understanding, or to find meaning.

An organism relates to world (environment) through its senses. This relationship produces reactions.
Genes, through the senses establish a relationship with world, through which the individual evaluates its place and its quality.
Memes establish a mediating lens that adjusts this relationship and along with it the individual's sense of place and of presence – meme modifies the relationship, multiplying or dividing it.
The meme also acts as a point of self-referential validation, and circumvention of the senses.  
The individual can orient itself and judge itself by completely ignoring sensual data. Meme converting lenses to mirrors, with varying degrees of opaqueness.
To create a mirror you must darken the side facing away, creating a reflective surface that also inverts the iamge.
The meme acts in the same way when it is nihilistic. The degree of its nihilism measured by the degree of its opaqueness, with the extreme being a total darkening of the back-side of the lens (solipsism), the one facing outward, leaving one side, reflecting inward, so that the mind perceives self reflected back to itself inverted.
Language is the lens, intervening between subject and object. It is either translucent, acting as a focus of subject to object, or it is opaque reflecting back to the subject its own projections.  
Narcissism is being lost in your own reflection  words referring back to self, warping the image or inverting it.

Paranoia, like narcissism, describes an extreme state, which is dependent on a perceived average.
What most people call paranoia, and what psychologists define it as, is an irrational anxiety that affects the individual's potentials.
That it evolves means it is  useful.
Everything that exists is natural, by definition, but where things go astray is when mutations corrupts the utility, by altering its degree.
So fear is natural and it is useful....indispensable.
We know what happens in those who have an abnormal level of fear - see the link on the IceMan.
there is a adjustment downward, where individuals have lower anxiety, and there there's an adjustment upward, its opposite, where the individual shows too much anxiety - manifesting in extreme distrust, irrational skepticism.

This is a matter of degree...as is narcissism an inflated self-love - an overestimation of self.
The opposite of low self-esteem and an underestimation of self, expressed as overly concerned with other peoples opinions of you, a lack of confidence, crippling self-consciousness....
Narcissism is the opposite with a different variety of consequences...one being that there is no possibility for self-improvement when you do not acknowledge any responsibility or you misjudge your own participation in a failed judgment.

Paranoia is the same.
Everyone has a degree of irrational fear, skepticism, expressed as distrust....but it does not inhibit actions.
Paranoia is the extreme degree of mistrust, an irrational mistrust, which cannot be justified by the circumstances and which affects the individuals life negatively....by denying him opportunities, by preventing actions, taking chances/risks.
Paranoia is not the whispering of one's internal voice to be careful of another, no matter how nice and trustworthy he seems....its an extreme case of anxiety that prevents any connection with anyone on the ground that he may hurt you.
That's always a possibility, no doubt, but a possibility is not a probability and a probability is not a certainty.

Narcissism & Schizophrenia.
Narcissism is not healthy self-love, no more than paranoia is healthy fear.
it is hyperbolic, irrational emotion, produced by some kind of genetic mutation triggered by particular environmental conditions.

Modernity cultivates narcissism as a byproduct of sheltering.
Subjectivity is a symptom of socialized narcissism,. It claims the self as the divine arbiter and world creator.
Love is a form of madness.
Modernity promotes this tuning inward, solipsistic, self-affirming american individualism, compensating for lost heritage, forgotten past.
The individual is comforted by this, especially when it is self-hating.
Narcissism is a overcompensating eroticism, hiding an underlying self-hatred...or dissatisfaction with self in relation to otherness, or world.

The individual prefers his private universe where he cannot be exposed as what he is.
Sheltering provides the cocooning to cultivate this detachment from reality.
This affirms the individual's growing over-inflation of self, because there's nothing to correct him - no reality check.
The individual can fabricate a private world, and a caricature of himself, suing language - he can declare himself anything, and the system will support this declaration if it does not disturb the declarations of others.

Basic dividing line of rational and irrational thinking versus emoting.
The division is along the nervous system, expressed with symbols/words.

Top <> Down emoting...begins in mind - from idea/ideal - noumenon.
It builds inversely, backward, - from ideal, fabricated in the mind, as synthesis of stimuli, towards the real.
Bottom <> Up reasoning...begins from physical, from the sensually perceived - phenomenon - from the perceived real, upwards towards the ideal.

The first has no past, no precedent, to draw from - its all projections as a imagined future, a coming world.
The second begins from past, from precedent, and then works to evaluate what can and ought to be overcome, and to what degree, and then projects ideals.

The first is entirely theoretical, abstract....reliant on symbols/words, then attempting to justify them by using the perceived - selectively sampling, reinterpreting, to fit it into the already decided ideal.
The second gradually builds a theory, based no experience/knowledge, on past, precedent, and uses symbols/words to refers to these experiences, to this past/precedent.

The first has to coerce, or seduce - thymos/eros.
It is totally dependent no a following...because it is entirely in the mind, as symbol/words.
The second could not care less...because what it reveals is either more or less factual, and is so whether others agree or not.

To build an image of being 'deep' and 'sophisticated' alluding to your intellectual quality, all you have to do is remain as cryptic as possible - dropping a few insinuating references and deference, hinting that you may be like this or that famous icon/idol.

Vagueness, like surreal fArt, lets the other use his imagination to construct a false image...directed by these casual name-droppings, or insinuating references.
Being clear and direct, dispels all doubt...it exposes the true from the false - it brings to light the real essence of the speaker/thinker.
You cannot hide a worn-out delusion, and a discredited superstition, when you use clear and direct language.
Anything that builds mists of presumed certainty in the stressful uncertainty, will buckle any skepticism, and bend its will.
The irrational nonsense is an antidote to rational anxiety the mind cannot reason away.

You can always tell when the other is purposefully choosing words to impress, to produce a reaction, to cultivate an image he wants the listener to assume about him.
Flattering those who present themselves as vulnerable, praising them, using guile, feminine tactics, to soften their skepticism, is also part of the 'game'.

Philosophy is not flattering nor is it comforting.
It is as harsh and difficult as the world it attempts to describe.
Philosophy is brutal....not for the feint of heart...not for children and women.
It requires a strong spirit, and a powerful constitution - it requires an equally brutal self-honesty.
Philosophy can be a means towards finding comfort and power, but it is not a guarantee.

Mother's love is forgiving, comforting, she opens-up to pull you into her non-judgmental embrace – keeping you warm and safe, allowing you to recuperate from your sojourns into the brutal, indifferently cold cosmos.
She has surrendered and endured to bring forth live, and she wants to protect her investment in suffering. Their suffering and needs are her sufferings and needs.

Father's love is uncompromising, harsh, relentless, like the world he is to prepare his children for.
He has sacrificed to birth them, and he will cultivate his risky investment the best he can. Their successes and failures are his. They are his continuing ascent/descent.

When a 'friend' loves, is it like a mother, or like a father?
Love of wisdom, is feminine, or masculine?
Is it agape, rational, or erotic, irrationality?
Does a 'philosopher' place another love above that of wisdom?
Does he conceal, for the sake of a friend's pain and suffering, or does he reveal, despite it?
Does a friend tell us what we want to hear, or what we need to hear, and do not know it, and do not want to listen....is brotherhood, a sisterhood; is it it motherly or fatherly?

Every claim, every perspective, every translation and interpretation of text, every opinion, judgment, assertion, declaration, can and should be validated by experience.
How does a rational man validate any and every judgment?
Triangulation.
He places the judgment, beside his own, and then compares both to an empirically accessible, sensually perceived world.
It does so many times - at least three - to compensate for any sensual corruption.

It then compares its own finding with those of others, again triangulating.
His cost/benefit analysis, juxtaposed with another's cost/benefit/analysis compared to a third's or the objective, the ideal itself.

First thing to evaluate is the objective, the ideal itself.
Is it realistic? Is it attainable, or a fantasy?
Is my own appreciation of it accurate, or corrupted by overestimation/underestimation?
Then one evaluates self in relation to the objective, the ideal.
How attainable is this objective for me? What are my weaknesses and strengths in relation to it attainment?
How can I compensate, if I can, to increase the odds of attaining my objective, of living up to the ideal?

Every perspective spoken, or written can be evaluated against world.
It does not matter where it was written, how long ago, or by who....all text, and all spoken language can be tested against reality.
It does not matter how it is understood, how it is translated, by others....the world, not other minds, is the final standard.
Every text ever written, every claim ever spoken, can be tested against reality, by each and every one of us.

Self is a triad = body/nervous system/mind, corresponding to past/present/future.
Past is nature.
Present is nurture.
Future is ideal, objective, motive.

Body = organ hierarchy, producing personality. Past made present, perceived as appearance - phenomenon.
Past establishing potentials.

Nervous System = Body interacting with world. Nurturing. Nervous energy, activity/behaviour, making itself apparent to other conscious minds. It is presence manifest.
Potential cultivated or atrophied.

Mind = precedent, probability projecting possibilities.
Orientation by projecting past, through presence, as possible future - objective.
Idea/ideal, theory used as orientation for the will's focus. Mind is will focusing on objective.

Objective is the projected, used for orientation and to focus the will, in a world in Flux.

How can it be evaluated?
By comparing the mental abstraction with the phenomenon, if it exists outside the mind.
If it does not then the objective is theoretical - idealistic.
Possible but not necessarily probable.

One uses one's own experiences or those of others - knowledge - to triangulate and gain understanding.
In the knowledge/experience data patterns are discovered. These are the mapping of the world, transferred internally, - translated as abstraction, mental map.
Meaning refers to this relationship between phenomena, as these are evaluated by the mind.
The mental map may or may not refer to an external geography of phenomena. If it does not, it is theoretical, idealistic, and/or representational, metaphorical, artistic.

Individual compares its evaluation, appreciation, of the objective, with those of another, and then, if possible, with its attainment.
Here the 'be careful what you wish for' applies.
How we imagine the objective differs from it when and if we attain it.
Cost/Benefits tend to inflate positively, so as to motivate....the benefits exaggerated and the costs minimized.

Objectively judging the objective by using those who have attained it, without being affected by thir claims, is a useful strategy that circumvents your own application, and the possible risks.
Usually the one attaining an objective will exaggerate the benefits to justify his costs. Depending no how large the costs were, in time and resources, the lie will be inflated.

All value-judgments are a product of triangulation = individual (self, subjective), world (other, objective), consequences (cost/benefit, product of the relationship of self with other).

Past (precedent, nature, experience, knowledge - body) --- Present (application, nurturing, interaction/flux, need - nervous system) --- Future (projected objective, idea/ideal, desired, objective - mind)


From dualities (ying/yang, cause/effect, positive/negative, human ways of conceptualizing fluctuating interactions between patterned and non-patterned energies, emerges simple life....a plant = present, and past, with no sense of future, no ability to project past, through the present towards the unknown yet-to-be.
From plant simple organisms emerge, evolve, and future begins to emerge as a projection of accumulated memories - experiences focusing inherited past (DNA as this inheritance of memories).
Consciousness increases as a measure of this projection - sharping through trial and error, contributing efficiency - focus of aggregate energies, via the will, upon an objective.
When it has increased to a level where ti can fold inward, self-consciousness emerges, as a by-product of consciousness.
This multiplies the accuracy of the [projection, juxtaposing self, with otherness, to make possible an honest assessment of self in relation to world.
This is where things can go haywire, especially after a prolonged period of sheltering.

An untested judgment begins to be seduced by vanity, fuelled by insecurity, and is taken by hyperbole along fantastic routes of self-aggrandizing self-referential narcissism.
With minimal natural correction the individual acquires a warped sense of self - the juxtaposition of self/world corrupted by emotion, anxiety, that needs expunging.
Self-consciousness released from the demands of world, can go mad with no outlet for its accumulating energies.
Add to this the lack of reproductive potentials, as when females are given back their sexual filtering powers, and the rarity of the artistic talent, and we have a social time-bomb.
Defused by constant stimulation, such as movies, music, pornography (art via a proxy)....and by numbing drugs, alcohol, religion (mind/body medication)...

Women, like children, crave attention.
They are validated by it.
They are made to feel like they matter....important, valuable.

Although a sane male will validate his beliefs against the world, the feminine spirit can only use others, because his/her beliefs do not refer to world, but to others.
Humanity = world....world = humanity.
Therefore an idea is validated by how many it can seduce, impress, convince, coerce.
In a globalizing world, on a planet, this is effective.

All is alive with humanity - all is human graffiti, symbols reflecting back a human world of meanings.
A noetic womb.
This is what it means to believe the cosmos is conscious...is a universe, a whole, an enclosed singularity, a one.
It is to close yourself in noumena....in human crowds, in a warm, comforting, rational world of humanity...immersing yourself in semiotics.

Look at the similarities between cAnus, iambiguous, and Iakob....because I like using real examples and do not like theories with no real life, testable, observable, examples.
Why else would I be on internet forums?
Both gauge their 'truth' by the reactions it triggers.
One, a positive-nihilist, validates his world-creating linguistics.....the other, a pure-nihilist, believes that if she refuses to believe she can prevent the real from becoming so....thinking that her linguistic denial, her refusal of words and their connection to observable phenomena, will make the world selectively go away.

Both from a shared Abrahamic/Marxist pool of 'emoting'.
Both Top<>Down emoters.
One begins with the 'idea', positive and promising great things, seducing the lost and the insecure, the desperate....the other with the negation of the idea, cynically laughing everything away, using language like a magical shield.

The nihilistic paradigm.
A world built on words/numbers, symbols....a world denying the relevance of words/numbers.
Both refusing the original mundane utility of words/numbers...as representational symbols - one thinking of them as too-little and the other thinking of them as far too-much - approximating, referring to noumena...words preceded by action....
Both using reactions to validate themselves and their 'beliefs', because they have no other way to validate them.
One uses them to seduce, insinuate, declare, compensating for the lack with prose, poetics, metaphorical ambiguities.......the other to deny, reject, refusing to use words properly - as references to something observable....like morality.
She will accept no definition which is based no something all can perceive....but returns to the dasein, words disconnected, socially constructed and dependent...no argument, no evidence...nothing will convince her...she will pull all into her 'chasm' her void, bury the world with her, before she dares to see.
Not symbols represent, refer to actions.....not mind refers to body/physical....but world referring to words....mind preexisting body....word preceding action - interaction.
James used 'affectance' to refer to (inter)activity - attraction/repulsion...and he believed all was ordered. he was a christian Abrahamic using cosmology to justify his one-god....his singularity.

I begin further back...in Energy (dynamic patterned and non-patterned interactivity) ....experienced as interaction, presence, translated into appearance...phenomena.
Noumenon refers to phenomenon - it emerges from it...not the other way around...not inverted.
The world existed before life emerged.....life existed before consciousness emerged.....consciousness existed before self-consciousness emerged.
Consciousness awakens to world....it does not create it. It discovered it, uncovers it.....reveals it, or it is revealed to it, whether it wants it or not.

I also include chaos, defined as randomness...into my thinking...I begin from the simple dualism of order/chaos....yin/yang....1/0, knowing this is a simplification of multiplicity, in relation to the conscious mind.
Duality evolves first, as a method of survival, of navigating the fluctuating cosmos.

An inverted reality...comforting, full of grand statements, promising empowering, possibilities, all building and destroying using semiotics.

These two types are examples, specimens of 'positive' and pure nihilism.
There are many...but these are the loudest.
So they beg for attention.

What does it say about someone when all he has is that other are using his name.....it does not matter in what context...to be mentioned, spoken of, suffices.
In between poetics, prose, trying to be beautiful, insinuating depth of mind and spirit, references and deference, literati clouds of declared 'truths' alluding to Kabbalistic mysticism...and on the other side of the same coin, someone who uses a post's/thread's view-counts to feel that he matters, that he isn't insane, but that what he is saying is extraordinary, powerful, effective....using words to reject all definitions of them, suing words to entrap, to pull down and bury...not to connect to world but to disconnect and flee.

Both are real-life examples that all can explore and validate for themselves - observe them as long as they need to prove or disprove my theory.
Real specimens...not theories built on words-games.
Real examples of what I defined and described as 'positive' nihilism, a contradiction I've explained, stems from its own premises...and pure, and proud of it, nihilism, that only wants to destroy confidence, degrade the superior to create the possibility for parity in weakness and ignorance....equality in the negative.
Both loud and relentless....demanding to be paid attention to, and then using this begged for attention, to feel like they are ground-breaking and important.

They are but two versions of a growing disease.
The Dark Ages are here...and they will grow darker, inverting the very meaning of light/dark, like nihilism appropriated 'nil' into their nihilistic agenda.
Much will be lost....some will be saved, preserved and perhaps strengthened, purified.
After rampant reproduction, a period of purging re-balances nature.
A reality check.    
It will take centuries.
Perhaps less, because last time there were no technologies like the current ones.
Technology may speed-up the process of decline and ascent.

A common method among con-men, using the same psychological manipulation used when selling fArt to the new-rich, by toying with their vanity, their ego, and their ignorance.
H begin with a desired outcome.
He covets an effect...let's say the effect of a famous icon like Bruce Springsteen or Jesus.....like Tupac or Nietzsche.
Usually he is inspired by an effect produced by another and wants to replicate it. Unable, or unwilling, to follow the path taken, the con-man begins with the outcome...the 'positive' outcome... and imitates the resulting style.
He begins with the style...and imitates it, hoping to embody the essence by repeating the behaviour.
It's what actors do when using the 'method'.
They can't live the life of the individual they are going to pretend to be, nor can they adopt the memories, DNA, and experiences of said individual, so he imitates the apparent, the behaviour, and then feels how the other might feel by using the same vocal particularities, the same body posture, wearing a mask to appear like the one they are trying to embody...wearing the wardrobe, putting on the make-up.
No wonder Moderns think appearances are superficial.
They read a biography, perhaps, wanting to 'get into their head'.
The goal is the effect. The consequence...the benefit.
They want to replicate it.
Unable to imitate the talent, or the genius, he remains on the plagiarizing of the product of this talent and genius, copying it, but slightly modifying it to hide the fact.
Then they 'sell' their act, their pretense, to those who want to buy into it, or who are afraid that if they do not they will be excluded, ridiculed, or that they will be exposed as lacking a certain kind of cultivation.
Same method used as when con-men sell abstract fArt to imbeciles.

Top<>Down method uses this.
Unable to validate itself against reality, it replaces it with idealism and then selectively samples and modifies reality, redefines it, to make it fit into the starting proposition.
The easiest way to do so, without revealing the lie, is to use obscurity, offering verbal justifications that impresses, leading the mind through twists and turns, implying and emotionally triggering....and yet saying nothing of any importance....no substance.
That's one part...the other is to use ignorance to imply knowledge which the other cannot or, chances are, will not even attempt to validate on his own. Either the subject requires expert knowledge, or research the other is unwilling to do, and he is reluctant to even consider because he desperately wants to believe.  
The choir will never doubt the preacher's sermon, even when it diverts from scripture.

The con-man will declare that his ideal, his starting premises, resolves some mysteries plaguing human understanding...so he uses human ignorance to claim more profound knowledge.
He will not justify, or qualify his claim, but only repeat it.
When and if he does try to pretend he is justifying and qualifying he will use jargon that implies a specialized understanding but is, in fact, meaningless gibberish, or he will claim that there are no words accurate enough to explain what he knows and the others do not.
An image is built over time, with seemingly casual references to impressive events, or idols, or experts, building a framework of implied believabilty.    
Lacking talent, and a reference which all can appreciate, he compensates by cultivating a public character, a caricature....an image.
Over time and if he manages to convince a few gullible minds, he may begin to believe his own lies, hearing them echoed back to him from his followers, and excluding all who contradict or threaten to expose him.
He immerses himself in a flock...a school....

....he distances himself from the world beyond the cocoon of sycophantic followers, placing himself at the centre - furthest distance from the 'external world'. He engulfs himself in a inter-subjective, womb, and calls this swarm of organic flesh 'world'.
World is now humanity...the species represents the extent of reality. The only place where symbols/words can have power, can hope to produce an effect.
Other become agencies through which he engages the world he knows confronts him, even in the midst of his alternate reality.

Praise, flattery, psychological material aid keeps the school swarming, through some stranglers are lost to predation from those who are outside this cocoon. They are used as examples of what happens to those who distance themselves from the 'word', the messiah, the 'truth'.
Everything is inverted.
What lies outside the cocoon, is evil, or illusion, and what lies within it is world, reality, good.
The fish know how dangerous the world is so they jostle for inclusion, pushing their way towards the centre, to glimpse the 'leader', to stand beside him...closest to the centre.....a few jostle to replace him...a few wander towards the periphery willingly...doubting themselves but unable to break free from the pull of the school.
The swirling creates a kind of vortex, pulling all who are in, further inward...making ti harder to pull away, to break loose.


The cocoon becomes a world of its own.
Its members call it freedom when they move in circles....as they think circularly.
Breaking out is a thought they cannot endure thinking.
What leis outside the school?
Uncertainty, the cold ocean, predators....all kinds of indifferent possibilities.
