Re: Zoot's Low Budget Productions
I understand...but in this age none of that matters.
All you need is a good agent, with connection to get you on the radio and to market you to the millions of imbeciles out there.
Substance does not matter, talent does not matter, quality is subjective, as is beauty, intelligence and everything else.
Sell by becoming pleasing...flattering...find a nice lyric that self-inflates, self-flatters, to sell to the feeble minded imbeciles so that they can repeat it and feel strong.
Plenty of those around.
Use some vague romantic language games...implying power, sex, love, wealth...
It's not that hard.
the hard part is fining an agent with the right qualifications and connections.

Re: Zoot's Low Budget Productions
Consider the cosmos from the musical vantage point....using Schopenhauer's metaphor.
Each particle is essentially a vibration = order, a pattern.
Many particles interacting is like a symphony, that may be a harmony or in disharmony.
A symphony.
I'll let chaos fall, as it implies a vibration that has no pattern, no order, and is always noise.
Now consider it using Zappas' musical insights.
A tension between the notes gives the entirety the possibility of a culminating convergence.
I've described it as interactivity - as this attraction and repulsion of notes = patterns, vibrations.
Notes more in harmony, combine into part of a melody...or they can be repulsive to one another, but a third note can become the harmonizing particle synthesizing the two into a beautiful chord...a complex note.
The tension between the patterns is the repulsion...the disharmony, that can be unified into a balance with these combinations. The repulsing tension gives them depth...character.
An organism, still using this metaphor, would be a symphony.....relating to other symphonies.
With some there is harmony, an excess of attraction, and with others disharmony, an excess of repulsion.
All is active, is dynamic....has a momentum = energy.
What has a pattern is called order and is divided into matter and energy, in relation to the observer's own aggregate notes....his/her symphony.
What lacks pattern is chaos...it is energy that cannot be integrated into any symphony, yet it is background noise that helps the symphonies and their interactions stand forth, stand out....become apparent.
I said i would drop chaos, but I lied....
These random notes make free-will possible...they are a slight rift in the cosmic determining order that permits the individual to intervene with a choice...his own notes created in real-time.
So consciousness is ongoing and continuous intervening.
On top of the automatic symphony there is this slight intervention.....the individual adding his own notes to a symphony that is then passed into the next generation that then adds its own notes and so on....
